Collegiate Track Champs- Sept 23rd- 25th.

Collegiate Track Champs are in Indy this year and the Schedule and registration details have appeared on USA Cycling website. I know a few IU students have been racing at the track so hopefully there'll be a good group to represent IU and have me to 'big-up' on the mic. Some of the team events may require some planning so I'm sure Eric Young won't mind organizing any group training that needs to be done. Contact him at egy@indiana.edu

Anyone know who is planning on racing besides Young? It would be great to have a good team showing for IU due to MTV being so close to Bloomington.

Chris Beck, James Coudright, and Chris West are all planning on racing at nationals as well.

like i said is anyone racing besides young?

While Young's performances are certainly impressive, the three guys listed above deserve some accolades of their own. Each has worked diligently over the course of the last several years and all have progressed tremendously, improving their form, gaining experience, and growing into respectable cyclists.

Beck is finally back in form after a long break, West is continuing his steady progress, and Coudright has been winning races left and right on a number of velodromes on the west coast. Perhaps its not Superweek, but these gentleman are doing good work and will surely represent IU well in September.

Neibler get a job and grow up. I heard Delts were taking some illegal supplements to improve performance which somewhat makes sense considering their surprise performance in Little 500 activities...don't get me wrong they are damn good riders but no one expected that and having the coaching that you do I wouldn't say it's out of question.

IU needs to get its mojo back, since finishing 2nd in 2006 there has been only one IU rider at Track Nationals.

If you going to jump Neibler's shit, do it for something real not some bullshit drug allegations. Jump him and Ryan Knapp for being their team's "Student Coach" in violation of the rules.

Drug allegations? My god if that is true every person that is taking performance-enhancing drugs needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves, "Why am I cheating and harming my body like this when I know I'm going to get 2nd place?" That's ridiculous boys if this is true. As a past Little 5'er I know it's everyone's goal to win but my god that's a pretty dramatic way of going about it.

In regards to Neibler and Knapp being in the pit who cares. Really what's the difference if it's them giving the riders waterbottles or someone else. If they weren't in the pit they would be standing right behind it. In my opinion IUSF needs to get rid of the student coach altogether it's a joke and they just get in the way from what I've seen

what you said doesnt matter. what matters is that it is a rule. the student coach must be a student that has taken the student coaching class/clinic. if neibler or knapp were both considered undergrads this would be a different story.

and yes, tmt has a terrible approach to the race, but it doesnt include drugs to my knowledge, and that is why they do well. sit and sit. oops. i mean delts.

Coudright looks like he's on some HGH or something...i wouldn't put it past the all-inspiring Delts coach to get these boys some drugs but with that being said similar to the above post you have to ride at the front to do well in little 5 and not sit in and wait

Come on guys! If you don't have credible evidence, quit the mud slinging, especially regarding such an awful topic as PEDs.

Yes children, listen to Todd

McDonalds is the only PED that really works; everybody knows that
