Autumn Series

Looks as though Riders Council have come up with a greatly improved Fall Series that kicks off with Tuesday Night at the Track this evening (#L5TNRS).
 Details here

Looking foward to hearing about how the events proceed. I see that the #L5TNRS is categorised by age which must be a kick in the teeth for the old boys of the track, Eric and Brant! I also notice that IUSF shows some class and don't give the ladies ages.... Start list for Tuesday 25th

any word on results?

Not age, but rookie year. Which is basically the same thing.

inaccurate results at that. Smith won the scratch race for the 1/2/3 men.

there are mistakes all over that result page...

That was a great night of racing. Thanks to Jordan for expanding the Little 500 experience.

You can't go around them? Was last nights ladies points race a qualifier for the 2016 Olympics? I must've missed that in the athlete packet. Did that give you the right to be a bitch? I didn't see any guys yelling at other riders.

LOL anytime I hear someone yell "INSIDE!" to me I just move over in their way. Let them come around if they want to pass.

I was one of the women yelling and we had talked to the rookies about it prior to the start of racing. If you hadn't noticed we were the only veterans who had to race with rookies, making it dangerous to everyone on the track. Sure the guys weren't yelling, but the 4s, 3s, 2s and 1s also weren't lapping people. As for going around them the one time that was tried it almost ended badly with the group of us splitting around them. I also apologized and made sure there were no hard feelings after the fact. I'm sorry but the women's cycling community is generally a lot more close knit then the men's and I'm pretty sure no one came away offended or angry.

Does anyone like bailey? I've only heard complaints from all the l5 riders. Did they not have any better options for race director?

thats funny because ive heard nothing but good things. hes done a lot to promote the event and create more events on the track, streamline rookie requirements. plus the race went off without a hitch last year, skydivers and all which hasnt happened in years

Overall he has been a very good race director. Any mistakes have been minor and very normal for a first year director.

When you are lapped you need to move to the outside when someone calls inside. You are influencing the outcome of a race you have already lost. Emily was right to yell, and when you are racing you have to yell because its hard to hear and things happen quickly.

It doesn't matter if it wasn't a big race. A competition is a competition. You are a hypocrite with your filthy mouth doing exactly what you said she was doing. Is calling one of the best riders a cunt promoting cycling?

Jordan is doing a great job.

no need for name calling. yelling shouldn't be necessary, riders show know to move. that's the purpose of training.

agreed, jordan is doing a great job.

Jordan Bailey... the GDI of all GDI's

Bailey has had issues, who doesnt, get over yourself and let the man do his job. Like someone else said, we had a skydiver last year and the race ended with zero problems. We've never done anything like these Tuesday night race series which is an awesome opportunity for rookies to get on the track in the fall and a fun time for veterans to get back on the track and compete against each other.

He could at least roll the track and make it less sketchy. On Tuesday the track was looser than a DZ
