vid

In lieu of any Little 500 news and the end of the CX season it's time to post videos which everyone will have seen before.
'Is this a strava-segment'
'dude, don't tell me what happened at the Tour today'

and btw I would totally be a PRO is I didn't have to work....

For a Bloomington connection: I'm told that the shoulder in the right corner is that of Zach Edwards.

Serious question - how many professional cyclists actually use all caps with typing PRO or is that just one more thing to add to the video?

I'm sure "So Pro Jones" (Mike Jones who rode for Healthnet) would have a wonderful response to this question. What ever happened to that guy? Now that was some funny shit.

Correction: Zach is the dude behind the counter in the bike shop. Apparently moving to CO makes you hit puberty, because he's got quite the 5 o'clock shadow going.

I'm w/ 9:36. I think writing PRO is totally lame.
I'm also w/ him (or her?) in that I loved So Pro Jones. That dude was a riot. i always looked forward to his blog posts. No idea what he's up to now.

that is so PRO

We would have won little 5 if we had not crashed!

That little 5 gear is to small for me!

Who are you paired with?

When are we going to get some 2012 predictions and insights up here? Any word on Fantasy Little 5 2012? I'm taking Hank with the #1 pick

Todd said...

Jim - as we've been told on here several times, Little 5 riders are not "real" cyclists, therefore, Little 5 sayings don't apply.

To 4:08, predictions were up months ago and your team wasn't the favorite.

Anonymous said...

Delts. That's all this year.

Anonymous said...

He did win 3 races in 3 tries like all other cutters as of late. You may be on to something 4:08. Heard he's coaching now? Hank want to own up to that? Todd your thoughts?

Todd said...

My thoughts: 13!

Anonymous said...

Alley Fruit: is your 3:34 post a knock on yourself? Didn't you guys bitch in 2008 about someone changing your race gear and you rode the race in a smaller gear?

Anywhoooo...you still won. F'ing Cutters! :)

Anonymous said...

OH MY GOD!!! THE CUTTERS!!!!! tell me how i can score one!!!

Anonymous said...

Eligible bachelors on the cutters as follows:
1) Sam "Doug" Stanford: reserved and mild mannered. He will treat you like a lady.
2) Brian "The Brain" Depasse: Has experience and likes a freak in the bed.
3) Michael "The Patchelor" Schroeder:
Has been know to go on late night hikes. He may have a few screws loose.
4) Tim "Hardball" Nixon: Technically not single, but he is always down to party. He won't necessarily say no.

Anonymous said...

what will happen on this season of the Patchelor??

Anonymous said...

wow, that will be awesome. that was a gutsy move

Anonymous said...

if only the patchelor had stuck around instead of leaving, he would be the first guy with 4 rings

Anonymous said...

That was 06 when the gear was changed when Hans lapped the field. It was one bike. It's clearly visible on the tape when riding the Cutter rider had a much faster cadence then Hans and anyone coming around them. Do shorter cranks give that impression too?

Anonymous said...

bishop was probably riding a 46x16 that year and still getting dropped

Anonymous said...

best thread yet.

Anonymous said...

How about we do a Fantasy Alumni Draft?

Anonymous said...

Yes. If we are talking Cutters I want Hazel as my #1. I'll take sideshow as my #2 and the patchelor as my #3. What a night I have in store just dreaming about this coming true. Bachelorette party - yes please!

Anonymous said...

Can Todd's wife come to this party as well? I bet she can really get down!

Anonymous said...

dont underestimate the bed power (combined with infinite curiosity) of Brian Depasse. Those who do will be left wondering and wishing.

Anonymous said...

Question. Who wins the girl in a Depasse vs. Patches competition?

Trick question. A cutter never loses.

Anonymous said...

Eiffel tower.

Anonymous said...

Who's Brian Depasse, Kevin's bro?

Todd said...

No original thoughts here.

Rumor has it that Elliot Stone wants to sponsor Delts this year. Apparently they feel their rock-hard physique will do better to influence sales. Any truth to this Cutter nation?

Seems scary similar to the beginning of the end of HTC-Highroad....

Anonymous said...

thanks for sharing 12:33pm. your contribution to this thread is obviously vital

Anonymous said...

No Anonymous 12:57pm. _YOUR_ contribution to this thread is _vital_.

Todd said...

My point is that GP posted a funny video that everyone can relate to, yet all the Anons show no original thought and revert to Little 5 Cutter jabs.

Hank said...

Someone needs to make a video with all the excuses of why they can never beat the cutters! That would provide ENDLESS entertainment

Anonymous said...

they cheat, duh. just like the patriots. little 5ers just like to complain

Anonymous said...

anonymous posters suck

whine whine whine

like, oh my god! i can't believe anon said that!

"we were too busy partying and taking shots"
We FRAT hard with 100 other dudes and pay for it too! Thanks Mom and Dad

Anonymous said...

"Look at the cutters fans, a bunch of freshman that watched the movie and old people reliving their glory days."

While you are watching old race tapes, we are partying. Don't hate cuz you didn't make friends during your time here. Forget that you wont ever get a decent job. Forget what it means to be an alumni. Oh right, its to have a tent set up in the parking lot on race day and sell $15 shirts to anyone that wants one. Damn straight I pay to live in a fraternity, because I don't want to live in the Villas. I pay less for alcohol over the course of a year than you do at your $5 a cup parties. Lance was right, its not all about the bike, its about juan pelota (or dos).

FRAT.

midschro said...

You forgot that our moms, dads, and other relatives are in the stands too, but you were right that we don't have any other friends.

Anonymous said...

Easy to bitch when you wear the tye-dyed jersey every year. Frat harder and hopefully you'll upgrade to off red.

Anonymous said...

Bragging about paying less for beer...to a bunch of cutters who probably don't give two shits about cracking open a cold one. And I assume by your post that daddy will soon land you a "decent job." This is why the state of America scares me sometimes.

Anonymous said...

Delts and Elliot Stone Company? Why would they switch from Cutters after so many years?

Anonymous said...

Keystone light woooooo.

Anonymous said...

cutters are still the coolest kids on campus for 1 week out of the year

Todd said...

Judging from this forum, they are the only kids on campus.

Anonymous said...

right, since this forum represents all 40,000+ people on campus...

Anonymous said...

7:53

Good one Hank...

10:54

America scares me because FRAT will one day be supporting the poor cutter who is drawing welfare and standing in on the Chase Bank presentation because corporate America is a huge ponzi scheme. While the 1% has the same values as the Cutters except they use them in real life instead of some intramural bike race.

Anonymous said...

Hank agrees

Anonymous said...

Let's see

Former Cutters of the top of my head.

Todd: owns his own accounting firm (fat cash)
Jim: Nurse (helping the sick old ladies.)
Fowler: Sales for a major bike company, travels all over the world.
Woj: Sales at Groupon, a 15 billion or so company
Young: Professional bike racer and national champion.
Hank: Getting his doctorate for physical therapy. (fat cash)
Hamilton: pro/semi pro bike racer
Sasha: teacher helping people become smarter than you hopefully.
Need any more proof that you are a dumbass?

Hank said...

I sign my name by my posts mr anonymous so 753 wasn't me I assure you. Let's add Clayton to the above list coaching/physiological testing out in Colorado. Pilling: head scientist at largest pharmaceutical supplier in the world. Paul Sig doing something in new York like a boss. Patches will probably be a big wig here at rolls Royce upon graduation as well. That's who I know personally along with above list of successful cutters post little five. Looks like they do other things just as well as little five.

Anonymous said...

judging by 5:15pm's knowledge about the cutters he/she must be an alum or close to the program. don't they usually sign their names? or are cutters on the anon bandwagon now?

polity of man said...

wait, does that mean that there's an anonymous poster that doesn't hate the cutters? I think that'd be a first. clearly it must a cutter posting anonymously, it's unreal that anyone who reads this and posts could be pro-cutter other than hank, todd, patches, and jim.
love, the other hamilton.

Anonymous said...

Not sure I would put Woj in the distinguished professional category. Working sales at Groupon in his mid-30s when people just out of college are in the same position? Just working for a big company is not always an accomplishment. I can wipe the floors for Groupon, but I wouldn't brag about it.

Anonymous said...

I'm Frat > Cutters but leave peoples careers out of this shit talking. Who are you to criticize what people do with their lives.

Anonymous said...

the other hamilton makes a valid point. however, most anon posters don't know so much about the cutters

Anonymous said...

that is so PRO
