Coach wanted!

The Collins Women’s Cycling program is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic female or male coach for our Little 500 team. While a veteran Little 500 or cycling coach would be ideal, a person with a basic understanding of physical conditioning, bicycles, and motivation would also be acceptable. If you believe these are qualities that are critical for a team to be successful, and can invest the time, please contact us.

Our team consists of 4 riders who are new to competitive cycling but not to athletics. Our goal is to be the best team we can be and are prepared to work hard to reach that goal.

Even if your Little 500 knowledge is not that extensive, we have several Little 500 alumni who, while they do not have the time to coach our team, have agreed to assist both us and our coach navigate the path to becoming a viable Little 500 team both now and into the future.

If interested, please contact us at:
collinslittle500@gmail.com

Thank you!

perhaps Todd can share his infinite Little 500 knowledge with this team?

They'd be smart if they brought in a cutters affiliate. Look at the success of teter and some of hamilton's teams...

It would be interesting to have a BVN team. Coached by online input. It would be like an open source or reality TV show.

maybe this team will be the guinea pigs

Have the Collins girls found a coach?

Got $1500 + travel expenses and I'm sure you can find an ex cutter to do the deed.

Todd said...

"ex cutter" is a rare find. I can only think of one and you don't want him coaching you.

Anonymous said...

Who are you referencing?
And why only 1?

Todd said...

Cliched, but once a Cutter, always a Cutter. Only ex Cutters are people who got booted.

Anonymous said...

Please tell me they pick Hank. That's really who todd is referencing. They wouldn't finish in the top 20

But Todd didn't you quit the cutters when Woj was a rookie.

Todd said...

Quit does not equal booted. Several guys have left but come back or stayed involved.

Hmmm? Only if they rode the race?

Todd has been just as much as an influence both as a coach and supporter of this team during the current successful run the cutters have had as Jim and fowler. Without him and his wife a lot of things would be different including race results. I believe he's been behind the boards of teter the last few years too during their current mockery of other teams as well. So to whomever is bashing Todd (which I'm sure he's laughing at your ignorance) obviously doesn't understand a thing about this race.

Hank - I definitely just laugh about these posts.

Todd and Hank don't you guys have cell phones, so you can text each other these compliments rather than subjecting us to them.

Todd said...

You're the one who brings us up in every post. We simply respond.

Cutters started it.

Todd said...

We always do, and plan to continue doing so.

Why does BVN have so much shit on it..... Whatever happened to talk about little 5? Let's start some winter break talk and less cross/roadie shit.. Who is doing what? Who is doing who? How are they doing each other? I need to know.
