Wednesday Worlds- suggestions?

Wednesday Worlds, the weekly training ride/ race is scheduled to begin next week after the clocks change. In the past few years I've put a loose schedule together that seems to have helped keep things more organized. Some of the roads in the area such as Bottom Road and Low Gap are in pretty poor shape and therefore not ideal for a big group to ride fast over. We should still use those roads occasional but I'm looking for suggestions for other routes that might be used. Put your comments below or email me. Bare in mind that crossing SR37 to the West at 5.30pm with a big group is not very safe/ car friendly which somewhat rules out routes to the west.

Take the Lake.

up bean blossom forest loop x2 is the best/safest course.

How about going around the lake via 446 to Hardin Ridge then back in on Strain Ridge to Ramp Creek? Not sure if traffic on 446 would be an issue or not.

I also liked the Old 37 reroute of the Paragon loop from last year - saved us from that crap on Bottom Rd.

Forest loop x 2 means twice by the midget attack dog -- beware -- that suckers got a 3 ft vertical leap -- and bites..... (I found out the hard way riding thru last month----)

that would be take the lake kaleb.

Yeah we've always been wary of Take the Lake because of summer lake traffic on 446. Imagine 40 bikers on that road with 10s of cars backed up behind us. Someone'll be popping a cap in my tailgunning ass!

Where is the midget attack dog? I haven't seen him.

(disclaimer: I'm largely a non participant, so my ideas don't necc count)
What about moving WW to an every-other week schedule?
Then there could be a TNT (tuesday night TT) one week and a WWRR the next all summer long.
That would mean you have to come up w/ 1/2 as many courses and folks can still "race" weekly.

Sorry A-Rod.

IMHO, choice is good.

North shore is always good. Forest is good. Improved Paragon route is good. Knightridge is passably good.

I agree Fred.

That gives us four routes to rotate through for the first couple of months, with the possibility of adding more once/if roads are improved by the summer.

We can also change up the direction of the North Shore/ South Shore and Forest loops to add a little variety if we get sick of them.

On a side note, I've never seen this midget attack dog, but I am very intrigued.

How about out old 37 south, dip down and into the alps (south side lake monroe), and then back in on strain ridge? The roads through there are pretty good. Two stop lights to contend with when crossing 37, though. Just offering an option
