On Sunday there will be a 100 mile ride leaving from the Sample Gates at 11AM. We will make 1 SAG stop halfway through the ride to refill bottles and buy all the junk food your heart desires. These rides have been a lot of fun so if you are considering it..come join!

CUTTERS will ride twice as far

Anonymous said...

That's odd...RJ Stuart is part of IUCC now and he whooped CUTTERS asses last year. Go ahead, ride twice as much as IUCC.

after the Armstrong witch hunt is over USADA will set their sights on Delts

Really who sleeps in an altitude tent for little five? Stuart is a fucking tool and cutters took themselves out of the race last year. Stuart dropped everyone else but cutters dropped their bike on their cinders it wasn't Stuart's doing...

Maybe he slept in it to win the cat 1/2 races at Winona and Mooresvile? Sounds like he is giving back with IUCC so tool or not he is still involved. Delts had good luck no denying that. Luck is always part of the equation though so you can't really use that as an excuse.

I once heard Guy East say, "if you are happy with what you are doing then you are successful" Success and happiness is not measured man vs. man but man vs. himself. I look up to Knapp. People lead different lives and find pleasure in different places. See the latest comment in stirring the pot..I wrote it, but i'm not judging the people I saw. Man vs. himself.

Define "professional". We got a hater in the room, no?

Anonymous said...

I'm guessing that's a little 5er who never amounted to shit and is now either unemployed or sitting in a cubicle reporting to bill lumberg and hating ever second of his god forsaken life. Making others feel worse about themselves shouldn't make you feel any better about yourself. Grown men posting on bvn is whats truly pathetic

I'm intrigued by the authors of the Ryan/Mike post. I'd guess most L5 current riders don't really know those guys so it must have came from someone slightly older who rides in town (unlikely as I'd say 95% of people who know them, like those guys) or someone who has a jealous boner on this topic for a while. Get over it dude/gal.
Once we start racing we all aspire to compete at the highest level you can. For me that was a big Cat 3 crit with 100+ riders with loads of spectators, for others it's racing at Masters worlds and for others it's racing against the best in Belgian, France where-ever. To do the latter you have to make certain sacrifices and everyone chooses their own path.

As for the coaching, if I ever came back to town, the first thing I'd do is to post resumes to every sorority house...

As someone who raced at IU in the 90's and is currently still involved in cycling, I am proud to say whoever is going out each week under the name of IU and not their little 5 team deserves to know just exactly what they are doing. I was a little 5 racer, am a donor, and still follow up on the different generations that come through IU. I saw Ben Sharp and the gang come through, I saw Neff come through, I saw young, and now I see the tweets that IU cycling sends out. BY FAR, this has been the most productive, open, assembled, cooperative, and combined effort that I have seen in two decades! I don't know what else to say much more than that since I don't know the riders personally but it seems like a mutual understanding is shared amongst the IU team which really separates themselves from the Little 5 riders and past IU generations. L5 will most likely always define IU cycling, but, I think that may be changing. Century's? The future is bright keep up the good work!

To solidify above post please see cross race results from past weekend in Louisville for knapp and sherer. Give it up

Anonymous said...

^because people aren't allowed to have a bad race. Let's see your results pussy. How many L5s have you won? Why don't you give that up. I guarantee you don't win this year.

I know your cat 4 Btown crit result was prolly pretty tight and all, but I'd love to see you put your results up against either of those two's. Assuming you race bicycles...

Trolls.

Anonymous said...

If you morons read that persons post it says nothing boosting about his personal results. It's merely stating that he believes they should move on with their lives and race on the weekends rather than try to make it to the pros where even if they do the pay is mediocre at best. You're 30 years old time to grow up. I don't agree with who the post is aimed at because those two guys are great advocates for the sport and I've enjoy watching them for years but at some point you've got to make a living

Anonymous said...

^7:26 yo dickhead, you just discredited those other two posts only to make the same statement that they did. I'm jealous of you obviously superior linguistic skills.

Let Strava do the talking...unless your the cutters...then just keep it a secret

Strava doesn't tell shit. But if you don't have strava you're shit.

Anonymous said...

Is anyone gonna buy Atwell's used chamois or not?

Anonymous said...

Cutters are afraid of strava. It would let other people see how little they train. If you're not on strava you're hiding.
