Local strong-man Jonathan Atwell (who hold the best time of the season
at the MMSF TT for this year!) is clearing out some bikes from his
garage and there is plenty available for those seeking new (used)
rides! Listed are two road bikes, a mountain bike, commuter, and even a
cyclocross bike! This is a shameless use of the blog (GP did the same thing a while back...),
but for Little 500 riders looking for a starter bike or upgrade some of
these could be very helpful (the MTB and CX bikes could be great for
training off-road over the winter too!). Craigslist post here. Contact Jonathan Atwell with any questions!

warning: if you ride one of these bikes, you are at high risk of absorbing residual Monster energy drink into your system through direct contact with the bike. consider yourselves warned
Crappy bikes with even worse prices. If you're going to shamelessly plug classifieds on here at least make them a good deal. Is Atwell flipping bikes now because there is no way he rode those.
Hi---in regards to the second comment---I rode 3 out of 5 of these bikes and they are all fine and plenty capable. My wife rode the other 2 (the smaller ones) and they are nice, too. You don't need state of the art gear to train and race hard. Not flipping bikes just too many in the garage. If someone wants a bike and thinks my prices are whack go ahead and feel to make me an offer....it is craigslist after all.
The first comment is probably true.
Update: the Felt X-City Bike is now SOLD.
outrageous. because selling 10-spd 105 bikes for < 1/2 of their new retail value is just whack. what kind of morons post on this site now? go back to Pedals and Spokes
now now, no need for name calling. seems like with the wear and age of some of those parts, the prices could come down a bit, but like the man said, prices are negotiable so why not shoot high and be willing to come down?
The two road bikes have some miles on them, but lots of life left. The mountain bike and cyclocross bike haven't been ridden that much. Quality bike parts aren't perishable. I edited the advert to indicate OBO ( "or best offer") which is typically implied on craigslist. Also implied on craigslist is that you might want to trade for old furniture or musical instruments, which, however, I am not interested in at this time.
Would you take a Western Union wire transfer from my Nigerian prince friend?
1st comments bogus. Dude totally sold out and switched to NOS.
i heard he was seen riding down 3rd St. with an AMP. can anyone verify?
this post just proves that this blog has gone seriously downhill since geraint left. why even bother anymore
I disagree to that. Atwell's bikes are way better than the tat I tried to push on people in the post RJ mentioned. I still feel guilty that the guys who came to get those shit-bag wheels might have wrecked when they disintegrated under them!
