We had a decent turnout tonight given the heat - 22 riders came out to tackle the TT. To no surprise, it was Jonathan Atwell who took the top spot tonight with a time of 21.08 - the new best for the year. Atwell keeps inching closer to the 21 minute barrier - can he be just the fourth rider to break 21 next time? Dave (Able ?) took the top Merckx time with a time of 24.15 - a new best for the Merckx category this season. Topping the women was Sarah Sanders with a blazing fast 25.06 - just 3 seconds off of the best female time this year. Thanks to Tom Saccone for timing tonight. There were also some complaints from riders about other riders drafting once they'd been passed. So this is a reminder to those participating in the TT - please do not draft if you're catching someone or if you've just been passed. Lastly, just a quick note from me - some of the names were not very legible, so I did my best with the spelling. Obviously if I know you it's not a big deal, but if I spelled any names wrong, I apologize. I will shamelessly blame the handwriting on the timing sheet for that. Anyways, full results below...

Is Paul Smith riding for Delts next year?
Yes I am.
-Paul
Pretty sure Paul Smith will have a few protests filed against him. As will the rest of the Delts riders.
Haters be hatin', Delts will be the favorite next year and easily the most hated returning champion since DX in the late 70's maybe EVER when u count their coaching staff niebler, ken, and Bishop hands down most hated coaches
Protest away. That's more time I'll be on my bike and less time you'll spend on yours.
-Paul
what was easier paul, coming up with that last statement or the pledgeship you didnt have???
Did delts win last year? I already forgot. And I doubt that is actually Paul posting. He seems too timid.
Delta probably not the team to get after this year, they don't need fodder for motivation or preparation. Get it?
Delts, theta chi, cutters. That is all. No one else need show up. You will be laughed out of the race. You heard it here first.
And it begins...Also looks like a lot of L5 riders will be out at the Indy Crit tomorrow, cant wait to see what happens.
Delts will be nowhere without RJ. He pulled last ten laps last year. Who else on Delts could do that.
I am putting all my hard earned cash on PDT to finish second, like they have for the last zillion years.

Now thats a stupid post. Delts will be fully loaded next year for anyone not following summer racing. I bet they will go 6 deep this year, 3 of the top 6 riders on campus for sure, .......maybe 4
And who do you think the " top riders on campus " are?
Top riders
Cutters Depasse (if he returns?), Walsh, Nixon
Delts Smith, Sojka, Momper
Theta chi Duncan
Beta kragie, laser, green
Anyone else notable?
Walsh has graduated.
I make Turner look like a Little PPP...he knows
And I still say Delts can't do it without RJ. Who else can pull for ten laps solo against fire drills by at least four other teams and lose no time whatsoever? He may even have gained time.
And I still say PDT will finish second because they do every year. I'm waiting to see smash another trophy, thereby publicly displaying their total lack of class.
nottodd
Who is gonna smash a trophy?
And who thinks PDT can get second? They have no one. A bunch of worthless CAT4/5 riders who won't amount to anything. PDT has been destroyed. They had no depth other than their seniors.
You needed to be at the awards banquet. Rumor has it PDT smashed their 2nd place trophy as soon as they got outside.
As to their second place, can't your recognize sarcasm? And in that vein PDT will probably have at least one rider who used all his eligibility apply for a fifth year.
All this has happened before!
